Hi, I’m Erin. I live in Western Canada and I am a newly certified Life Coach, but long practicing with friends and family. I am a coach for Women and their Relationships, for anyone looking to live a more soul/heart-based life and letting go of needless thoughts and chatter and a coach for new dog parents and long time dog parents going through illnesses or the loss of a pet and a big part of the family.
I have a BA with a major in English and minor in History. I worked in Property Management for several years, and moved to NYC to follow my dream of learning about fashion. I graduated from Parson’s School of Design with an AAS in Fashion Marketing and moved to Toronto to work with Toronto Fashion Week. After leaving TFW, and the loss of my beloved father, I moved back home and went back to work in Property Management. I eventually sold my company and have been working on me for the past several years.
I worked with a psychologist and studied Shamanism and learned how to get out of my head and see the big picture in life. I got out of my head and into my heart and in turn found my calling and joy in helping others.
Through my study of Shamanism and my work with my psychologist I learned to accept me for me, and understand why I am who I am. Once I did that, everything in life just became a little easier. I don’t fight myself everyday and I am very aware of who I am and what I am and am not willing to do in life. I know my strengths and my weaknesses and I embrace them all, because they make me who I am. I think too many of us try to be perfect, I know I did, and in doing so we create a lot of unnecessary suffering within our heads. We are so hard on ourselves and I want to help others find peace in who they are and embrace all their quirks. Our flaws and our souls are what make us beautiful.
